- Over two million bushel storage capacity
- 120-car unit train rail loop off of the BNSF
- Built in unstudied flood plain on the Big Nemaha River
- Area has flooded twice since construction – facility stayed dry
- Multiple stream crossings
- Analyzed existing bridges
- Used HEC-RAS analysis to size reinforced concrete box crossings
- Poor river-bottom soils required deep structural foundations under bins and towers – auger-cast piles
- Provided construction oversight for the entirety of the earthwork and concrete work
- Provided civil design for entire site: roads, rail and utilities
- Provided structural design on all reinforced concrete foundations for bins, dump pits and towers
- Designed and permitted through Nebraska Department of Roads highway entrance off US 75
- Traffic flow for through-facility for 40+ semi-trucks at a time
- Wetland Mitigation through the Army Corps of Engineers
